METER MANAGEMENT
Our primary focus is ensuring that the electricity meters and water meters are maintained and managed in accordance with their life cycle and status on the municipal database. Our meter reading services enables our clients to bill more accurately and on time. Our ,eter audit services ensure that consumers are billed using correct meter data. The correct meter reading combined with correct customer information ascertained during auditing of meters results in increased revenue collection and control in the protection of the utilities commodities revenue.
With the above processes in place, municipalities are able to implement accurate revenue collection and revenue protection functions. We believe that having a holistic approach to the challenges that face the utility sector will result in sustainable success for all stakeholders involved.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION
Our scope of work for civil contracting includes but is not limited to:
Bulk meter installations( 50mm to 300mm), sewerage and drainage installations (domestic 25mm – 40mm and commercial – 350mm), fixing of mains (UPVC and FC), relocating of pre-road leadings and t-pieces from inside to outside of the property, pressure drilling and tapping onto mains supply, providing pre-road leading for domestic and bulk metered consumers, re-instatements of surfaces such as asphalt (hot and cold), concrete, gravel and brick paving.
We have done many road crossings and sidewalk re-instatements as part of our bulk meter installations. Construction of valve and bulk meter chambers is a key function of the complete new bulk meter installation scope of works.
METER INSTALLATION CONTRACTS
It is important for the municipalities to have a program to replace both ageing and faulty water and electricity meter to ensure accurate revenue collection. KEV Accurate Measuring has qualified artisans and continually train staff to assist municipalities to achieve their planned programs in this regard.
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS AND AUDITS
We are the electrical contractors who are involved in MV and LV installations and have completed projects for Eskom and Ethekwini Municipality. We also help with meter audits to help reduces non-revenue electrical loses and have own data collection software which is used accurate proof of source of loss.
RURAL HOME SOLAR INSTALLATIONS AND SOLAR WATER GEYSER INSTALLATIONS
KEV has been involved in solar installation since 2002 subcontracting the concessioners to the Department of Energy. Solar energy has been long identified a key renewable source of energy. We continue to be a part of this means of electrification by providing our key and competent skills in rolling out these services throughout South Africa.
PLUMBING AND CIVIL CONTRACTORS
KEV Accurate Measuring has been involved in providing the plumbing and civil construction since 2005.
Our primary scope of work in this regard is focussed on domestic meter installations, (15mm to 40mm), replacements and relocations, leadings and mains.
Included in our plumbing scope of works are leak repairs at domestic households ensuring property is completely leak free and installation and maintenance of all sanitary ware and fittings, enabling consumers to utilise water more sparingly and resulting in greater water conservation measures.
